Granny's Hands

This is an art work I created as one of a series called "Granny's Hands". 

I have such vivid memories of my grandmother doing various things around the house and I thought this would be a GREAT way to memorialize her and other grandmothers.

 It's a pencil drawing of an elderly woman holding her bible as she would be dressed for church on a Sunday morning. I can remember my granny holding her bible in a dress like this and I remember the pins she used to wear. In fact I have several as keepsakes!
